New Delhi - SRF Ltd, a leading Indian manufacturer of technical textiles, is planning to add to its product portfolio by entering the laminated fabrics sector. The company, which primarily relies on manufacture of nylon tyre cord, wishes to reduce its dependence on this.

Rieter sells nonwovens interests to Andritz

Winterthur - Rieter Holding Ltd,. Of Switzerland has signed a contract with the international technology group Andritz, based in Graz, Austria, for the sale of the French company Rieter Perfojet S.A.S, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Rieter Group. This divestment is being made in the context of focusing on core activities in the Textile Division of Rieter.

Lenzing invests to expand production capacity

Lenzing - The Lenzing Group, market leader in cellulose fibres, will continue to expand production capacity in 2010 by investing a scheduled EUR 120 million its European and Asian sites. The projects will be realized over the next two years.
