Progress through movement
Eberhard von Kuenheim, former Chairman of the Board of Directors and Supervisory Board at BMW, summed it up beautifully: “Mobility of man and goods is not the consequence, but the basis of our prosperity”. In a modern, industrialized society, being “mobile” is absolutely essential and virtually a fundamental right. However, this requires a corresponding infrastructure. And therefore industrialization works as a powerful engine in transport route construction.
